Freshly graduated from school I had the time to help out a long time friend who'd been working freelance as a media producer. Running his own company and Directing small commercials and music videos for local bands and businesses.Â
He asked if I could help out on a 3 day video shoot for the launch video for a Friedreich's Ataxia charity that was starting. Not knowing a thing about video production I became a lighting man, an assistant camera, set designer, and construction coordinator for those 3 days. I made sure all planned scenes were done and that we maintained a steady pace to keep on schedule. I set up lighting for the scenes ahead.
All photography provided in this section was provided by Kevin Trinh, our behind the scenes photographer.

Project Description
The first day was filmed all at the Heritage Park Alliance Church. Where we had 500 extras to fill an entire auditorium. I had built the balloon columns on stage the night before in a wood shop. I thought this would be the hardest day, but I was quickly warned that today was actually the easiest.
Project Description
Day two was entirely outside with multiple locations and somewhat complicated scenes. The biggest factor was time since we only had so much daylight and we needed these scenes to get done quickly.
Our fearless Director literally hanging out the car window while it goes at speed
Project Description
Day much like day two there were several locations all over Windsor that we shot scenes at. Firstly going to the Windsor police administration offices, then to a medical office, a weight lifting gym, and finally ending at a highschool gymnasium.
Big thanks to our FEARLESS leader Anthony who gave me more responsibility and grace than I deserved. And for never complaining once.
