During the summer of 2022 I worked in a student position at the Municipality of Chatham-Kent under a landscape architect. My main task was to prepare and run the month long CK trail challenge but I would also quickly pick up on other duties such as, construction site inspections, GIS cataloguing, and taking meeting notes at community meetings.

Project Description
The CK Trail Challenge was a month long event that I planned, promoted and ran myself for the Chatham-Kent community. It involved pop-up tents with bike repair lessons and safety along with a weekly competition give-away that would encourage people to use their community trails more. Promoting a healthy built environment through active transportation.
I promoted the event through local news and on social media.
Project Description
Throughout the summer I walked every single trail in Chatham-Kent to update our GIS information. This is a sample of what it looked like in the GIS software we were using.
Project Description
The trans canada trail is a network of trails that goes throughout the entirety of Canada, coast to coast. I was asked to do a signage audit marking were the trail markers were in our GIS software and sending a report to the TCT organization. This is the TCT trail that goes through the Chatham-Kent municipality.
Project Description
While walking the trails I would take photography that could be used whenever an image was needed. These pictures are still being used on the Municipalities website today.

I created and printed a banner that would be used for future events. You can see it in the image above with the promotional pop up tent.
