12 BOND | MULTI-UNIT CONVERSION INTO SINGLE FAMILY HOUSE
Project Description
A compilation of code research and Application research for this project. Mainly being for the South End Landmark Commission and fire code for means of egress compliance. On the right is a sample document I made outlining the Historical Commissions requirements and processes. On the Left is a sample of me going through their documentation highlighting anything that would pertain to our application. Pictures below are from a 1972 survey that I found to help prove what was original vs. not.
Historical Commission Guideline document
Highlighting important information for our Project
1972 Existing Conditions
Project Description
The latest task was to put all the information above into a presentation to submit into the commission for review. Then there will be a public hearing in which we will have to present to the public and the commission our alterations and answer any questions concerning the views from the public way. This is a pared down sample of the submission that I mainly worked on creating.
Project Description
Finished schematic design floor plans that helped put together.
Project Description
Part of my duties is to take meeting notes. The following is a typical example of the finished meeting notes I produce.
Project Description
For the South End Landmark Commission submission they want existing conditions to be accurately detailed. This is a sample of creating a Revit family modelling the existing lantern.
Project Description
A sampling of the many design options that we went through with the client that I produced. And then again zooming in with a few bathroom schemes and a few different back door schemes. They were some of the last options the client had to choose before moving into Design Development phase.
Project Description
Usually done by the interior designers in the office I was asked to produce schematic electrical plans for the proposed floor plans for a walkthrough with an electrician.
Project Description
I was tasked with creating demo plans for the contractor.
Description
It was my task to prepare the documents to submit for permitting for a deadline. With the guidance of a peer I cleaned up to document and made it presentation ready for the application deadline. Polishing everything from demo plans, window details, and electrical plans.

Description
Since we were replacing the windows we needed window details to place in our construction set. I created details for 3 different window conditions. Wood windows in masonry opening, clad windows in masonry opening, and wood window in wood frame opening using specifications found on the Marvin Window website.
Project Description
the Client was adding a gas fireplace to the front room of the apartment. Because of the requirements of the historical commission it would have been unpractical to vent it through the front street facing end of the house. Based on the limitations of the fireplace manuf. specifications I created these two options.
Project Description
With help I designed custom doors that I modelled in Revit. They were a fully parametric door family meaning I could be resized in the main Revit file. I then created this scheduling sheet and filled it out at we finalized the details.
WARE | STEEL FRAME NEW CONSTRUCTION
Project Description
Having a plan that was produced as a quote by a steel framing company and a sketch from the client I was tasked with producing structural plans for a steel frame building.
Project Description
The original plans from the client were not ADA compliant and needed to be reworked. I researched and made changed to the plan.
Project Description
From the research done before I created a life safety plan for the building to be submitted for a building permit.
3 ARBORVIEW | BASEMENT ADDITION
Project Description
Using the site survey I was tasked with replicating it into our Revit file.
32 WHITMAN | INTERIOR RENOVATION + ADDITION
Project Description
We needed accurate existing conditions for this project. I went to the clients home with a laser measure and a very loose sketch of the floor plans and elevations I drew in Revit from a realtors plan.
55 BOYLSTON | NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME
Project Description
An architect had a VR headset laying around and thought it might be useful in client presentation. He asked me to set it up and figure out the best way to guide clients through a VR presentation.
Project Description
One of the architects didn't know how to model framing in Revit. So me and him worked together to put together wood framing plans in Revit him teaching me framing basics and terminology and me helping to produce the drawings in Revit. I also created a foundation plan that would
56 SIGOURNEY | RESIDENTIAL ADDITION
Project Description
I did the preliminary zoning for this project and went on to calculate the floor area ratio from some overall dimensions I measured onsite for a building permit. These are the plans I created.
66 RUTLAND | INTERIOR AGE IN PLACE RENOVATION
Project Description
This project was looking at creating an age in place solution for the elderly resident. Ideally with a live in nurse upstairs and room for more family on the higher levels while the ground floor would remain for the main resident. We started by taking a point cloud scan and then I would bring it into Revit.
Red dots are the laser scan done onsite. I then traced the floors and elevations to make a perfect digital copy in Revit.
104 CHILD | RESIDENTIAL ADDITION
Project Description
With the help of the structural engineer and another architect I developed these construction details and wall sections.
222 WARREN | NEW CONSTRUCTION HOME
Project Description
This small laundry room I designed with the help of another architect. We made 13 different variations based from the clients feedback.
Project Description
The Stair design was a 3 month long project. I created box newel families, railing families, and baluster families all nested inside one main stair family. There ended up being several dozen incremental changes to the finalized version that is below.
Project Description
The walk in closet was still a work in progress. I worked closely with the client who had very specific requirements for this walk in closet. I would draft their ideas and make adjustments as real dimensions sometimes made their ideas impractical.
Above is a rough plan with notes from the client in blue pen for what they need in the space
